At Cape Cod Church we believe that a young person's teenage years are some of the most influential and exciting times in their whole life. Those years are prime for genuinely experiencing God and growing in a relationship with Him. Our new student facilities (The LOFT) is the largest church gathering area for teens on Cape Cod. We went above and beyond to create an environment where students can hang out, connect with other teens from around the Cape, hear great music and lessons that impact their lives, and experience Jesus in life-changing ways. We have several ways to help engage and connect our teenagers with the church and the community.
Junior High (6-8th grades)
Junior highers meet at the Loft on Tuesday nights (5:30-8pm). This is a high energy, fun-filled night each week. We play games, sing songs, have some great food, and of course spend time learning about God.
High School (9-12th grades)
Thursday nights program (6-8:30pm) is specifically for high school students - with relevant messages, engaging worship music, a great lounge area with snack bar, and an environment that makes it easy to make new friends and hang out.
"Where discussions happen" Our life groups meet at various times throughout the week and in different locations. These groups are designed to add another layer of study and growth to our teenagers walk with Christ. Young people get a chance to connect with leaders, and make lasting friendships that truly help them grow in their relationship with Christ.
The Loft Teen Center is open during the 9am service on Sunday mornings for all junior high students. This is a casual meeting with plenty of time to catch up with friends, make new friends, and also get to have abbreviated small groups with the Loft leaders. This service takes place simultaneously with the adult service. Students are encouraged to attend the Loft at 9am and the main service at 11am. For the high school students, the Loft does not offer Sunday morning programming. It is our goal at Cape Cod Church to see our high school students become active participants in the life of the church. We encourage our high school students to attend a service and serve in a service.
